Eligibility Criteria for HAW Hamburg Scholarships

You must fulfill the following requirements to be eligible for the HAW Hamburg Scholarships:

• Status as an International Student: You have to be an international student enrolled at HAW Hamburg. Additionally, you must have obtained your higher education admission qualification outside of Germany or completed preparatory study in a German Studienkolleg.
• Enrollment Status: To be eligible for a master’s degree at HAW Hamburg, you must have completed at least one semester and two semesters for a bachelor’s degree.
• Standard Study Period: Also referred to as the Allgemeine Regelstudienzeit, the standard study period is when you should be enrolled in your degree program.
• Academic Performance: You must have a minimum average grade of 2.2 and continuously succeed academically.
• Limitations on Government Assistance: You are not eligible for BAföG or any other kind of government assistance at the time of your application.
